Marketing & Library Assistant

The Sullivan County Public Library System is seeking a creative and customer-focused Marketing & Library Assistant to support library marketing efforts and assist with daily branch operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Marketing Specialist in creating and implementing marketing materials, campaigns, and social media content.
• Help design, write, and edit communications for print and digital platforms.
• Support branch staff with circulation, programming, and customer service.
• Build positive relationships with patrons, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
• Participate in events, outreach, and promotional activities to increase library awareness.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in marketing/design and customer service; library experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva).
• Photography skills are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and travel between branches.
• Evening and weekend hours required.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
