Valley Home Insulation (VHI) is a fast-growing Mass Save contractor delivering weatherization and heat pump services across Massachusetts. We are driven by a mission to lower utility bills, improve comfort, and expand access to energy efficiency — especially in Latino and underserved communities.
We are seeking a Marketing Manager who can build VHI’s marketing and branding function from the ground up, create a strong and consistent brand identity, expand into new territories, and establish relationships with municipalities, community organizations, and local gatekeepers. This person will blend creativity, cultural awareness, and data skills to position VHI as the trusted partner for customers, utilities, and communities.
Job Description:
Core Responsibilities
Targeted Marketing & Budget Alignment
- Develop outreach strategies that generate leads within specific utility allocations.
- Track which campaigns feed into which budget category, ensuring spend and production are aligned.
- Recommend and adjust the marketing mix (digital, canvassing, media, community partnerships) based on budget availability and ROI.
Branding & Messaging
- Define and maintain VHI’s brand voice across all channels — bilingual, approachable, and trusted.
- Ensure consistent branding across materials (flyers, ads, website, social media, event presence).
- Develop content that highlights VHI’s mission, values, and community leadership.
- Position VHI as the “go-to” Latino-focused Mass Save contractor with utilities and the public.
Community Engagement & Expansion
- Build relationships with Latino communities.
- Expand outreach into new cities/territories, identifying areas where Mass Save participation is low but opportunity is high.
- Establish relationships with municipalities and local gatekeepers who influence access to residents and properties.
- Develop referral pipelines through trusted messengers and partnerships.
Data & Reporting
- Use CRM (Salesforce) and external data to segment leads by geography, fuel type, income tier, and language.
- Report regularly on marketing performance, showing how campaigns and branding initiatives support utility budget spend and program targets.
- Analyze ROI across campaigns, making recommendations on where to double down or pull back.
Cross-Team & Organizational Growth
- Train canvassers and outreach staff to ensure they are deployed in areas with available budgets.
- Work with sales/operations to align marketing with intake capacity.
- Build repeatable marketing systems, brand guidelines, and outreach processes that scale as VHI grows.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in marketing, branding, or outreach roles; energy efficiency experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of multicultural/Latino marketing; bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
- Experience developing and managing brand identity across multiple channels.
- Skilled in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), data analysis, and campaign tracking.
- Proven ability to expand into new markets and build relationships with municipalities or gatekeepers.
- Strong visual and written communication skills (bonus if comfortable with design tools or managing designers).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
