Marketing Manager – California Smash 

El Segundo, CA | Full-Time 

California Smash is LA’s first indoor pickleball + social club, with 9 pro-level courts, a 150-seat bar & restaurant, VIP lounges, glow nights, and the Broadcasting/ podcast studio. More than a club, we’re the South Bay’s premiere event and social space — where sport meets lifestyle. 

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help us launch and grow the hottest new sports + social club in the country. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments. 

What You’ll Do 

• Manage and grow our email campaigns and organize the HubSpot + Court Reserve databases for member communications. 

• Promote our programming and events on Luma, Meetup, and other event platforms. 

• Coordinate with our social media lead on posting schedules and messaging consistency. 

• Create branded templates and content in Canva and Photoshop, keeping our visuals sharp and consistent. 

• Lead community outreach, building relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations. 

• Support campaign strategy across digital, PR, and grassroots efforts to position California Smash as the South Bay’s (if not Los Angeles’) #1 sports + social hub. 

Who You Are 

• 3–7 years of marketing experience (preferably in sports, lifestyle, or hospitality). 

• Strong with email marketing platforms, social media, and CRM tools. 

• Creative and hands-on with design (Canva/Photoshop). 

• Organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle campaigns, community relationships, and event promotions. 

• Energetic, collaborative, and excited to help build a brand from the ground up.
