Hours: M-Th 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of Jimmy’s marketing strategy across all channels. This individual will work together with the Vice President of Sales to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, drive product demand, and strengthen Jimmy’s position in the competitive food manufacturing industry.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on brand building, trade marketing, digital marketing, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Sales Alignment
- Partner closely with the Vice President of Sales to design and execute campaigns that directly support sales goals and retail promotions.
- Develop co-branded sales/marketing materials and tools that enhance retailer relationships and help secure shelf placement.
- Provide sales teams with timely product information, promotional assets, and trade show support.
Brand Development & Management
- Maintain and grow Jimmy’s brand identity across packaging, point-of-sale displays, digital media, and retail signage.
- Collaborate with leadership to position Jimmy’s as a trusted, premium food brand.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Food Manufacturing & Retail Marketing
- Create promotional strategies that highlight Jimmy’s unique strengths: fresh, high-quality products made in Minnesota.
- Coordinate in-store sampling programs, trade promotions, and food service marketing.
- Work with production teams to ensure packaging, labeling, and product launches meet marketing standards and customer expectations.
Trade Support
- Provide trade marketing support to sales and retail partners, including creation of promotional materials, displays, and in-store marketing assets.
- Develop and execute trade promotions and campaigns to increase product visibility and sales through retail channels.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing initiatives with trade objectives and seasonal promotions.
- Track and analyze trade campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve ROI.
- Coordinate product launches and ensure marketing materials are delivered and executed consistently across trade partners.
- Support event marketing and trade shows, including logistics, collateral preparation, and post-event follow-up.
Digital & Consumer Engagement
- Manage Jimmy’s website, SEO, email marketing, and digital ad campaigns.
- Build and oversee a content calendar that reflects Jimmy’s community presence and customer engagement.
- Grow and monitor social media channels with a focus on storytelling, recipes, and customer connection.
Event & Community Partnerships
- Plan and execute events, sponsorships, and trade shows that showcase Jimmy’s products.
- Strengthening Jimmy’s reputation in the local community by supporting brand activations, charitable initiatives, and partnerships.
Analytics & Reporting
- Measure ROI on campaigns, promotions, and events to assess effectiveness.
- Prepare and present marketing performance reports to leadership, including actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of marketing experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or retail.
- Proven success collaborating with sales leadership to drive growth.
- Experience managing budgets, marketing calendars, and vendor relationships.
- Strong digital marketing skills, including website management, analytics, and social media strategy.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- A creative, hands-on marketer with the ability to balance strategy with execution.
