THE POSITION

As Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to grow audience engagement, increase paid subscribers and members, support sponsor campaign delivery and ensure event success. You will be the central connector between editorial, sales and event teams — executing marketing efforts that directly contribute to company revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute multichannel marketing campaigns for Club Solutions Institute, events, and editorial products.
  • Develop marketing calendars for each brand and event.
  • Manage email and social media marketing strategy, segmentation and automation.

2. Audience Growth

  • Grow and segment email subscriber lists across all brands.
  • Optimize website content and landing pages for conversion and SEO.
  • Partner with editorial to promote content that attracts and retains audiences.

3. Event Marketing

  • Own pre- and post-event marketing plans to drive registration and attendance.
  • Coordinate with event staff on key dates, deliverables and messaging.
  • Execute event-related email, social and paid campaigns.

4. Education Platform Marketing (Club Solutions Institute)

  • Build lead funnels to promote courses and membership.
  • Develop nurture campaigns and retargeting strategies.
  • Track performance and suggest improvements for conversions.

5. Sales & Sponsorship Support

  • Create marketing assets and landing pages for sponsor campaigns.
  • Help fulfill sponsor deliverables (email blasts, content promotions, etc.).
  • Assist sales with marketing data and reporting for client ROI.

6. Analytics & Optimization

  • Track campaign performance (email, web, social, paid).
  • Provide regular reports and actionable insights.
  • Test and optimize messaging, subject lines, ad creative and landing pages.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in media, publishing, events, or online education.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign).
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM and audience segmentation (HubSpot preferred).
  • Familiar with content marketing, SEO basics, social media and paid digital (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Strong copywriting, project management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with editorial, sales and design teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with attention to performance and ROI.
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Experience in health, wellness or recreation industries.
  • Familiarity with platforms like HubSpot, WordPress, Canva or Google Analytics.
  • Prior experience marketing educational or training programs.

PAY

$50,000 – $65,000 per year
