Job Overview:
3-5 years of experience in the distilled spirits industry required. Ability to work on weekends and drive to off-premise locations around the Greater Pittsburgh Area will be required. Daily travel to office is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent oral and written skills are a must
- Ability to understand brand voice and project that across marketing channels
- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in social media marketing on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Knowledge of project management software (Asana, Slack, Sprout Social)
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Email Marketing Software (MailChimp or other related email marketing software)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Software (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
- Previous experience with Google Ads and Analytics is a must
- Experience working with large marketing budgets and allocations
- Previous experience with Website Management is required (WordPress)
- Knowledge of the spirits industry is required
- Ability to use a professional camera is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
Social media
- Respond to all direct messages and comments/questions on posts.
- Develop content for all social media pages and schedule on Sprout Social
- Content creation for campaigns and posts
- Learn brand voice and identity for cohesive content
- Coordinate photoshoots for seasonal and timely content
- Create quarterly reports on page performance
- Research/study new trends and be able to apply them to our brand pages
Events
- Attend events to capture content for social media
- Work closely with the President on coordinating events
Public Relations (?)
- Coordinate media events and supporting email blasts for large distillery announcements and milestones
- Work on leads for PR opportunities for new product drops, industry specific content, and events
- Coordinate paid ads in local newspapers and magazines and leverage added value opportunities
Email Marketing
- Push Chamber Chatter Newsletter out once a month with relevant content
- Product releases, events, merchandise, industry news, and more
- Coordinate with Retail Manager on new merchandise releases and sales
Marketing
- Respond to all messages sent to the contact email
- Create private labels and adjustments to current spirit labels in Illustrator
- Create and maintain quarterly campaigns through but not limited to Google Ads, Meta, Local media outlets, OTT and OOH advertisements
- Monitor SEO and SEM for website optimization
- Update both ICD and Bessemer Websites weekly for new product announcements, blog posts, publish recipes, etc.
- Quarterly campaign development
- Monthly reports and tracking on website traffic and social, digital, and traditional advertisements
Additional Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming donations, partnership, and sponsorship inquiries
- Assist with merchandise collections in gift shop
- Update Google, Apple Maps, Visit Pittsburgh, Local Media, etc. when amenities and new events become available
- Attend industry seminars and conferences when applicable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
