Position Summary

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing and executing multi-channel marketing initiatives to drive patient acquisition, referral engagement, and brand awareness across all Modena Allergy + Asthma clinics. This individual will collaborate closely with leadership, operations, and clinical teams to translate business goals into effective marketing strategies—balancing digital performance with relationship-based community and physician outreach. This is an ideal opportunity for a versatile marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to make a measurable impact in healthcare growth and brand storytelling.

This role is exempt (salary) and full-time, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This role requires a minimum of 2 days per week in office within San Diego (location flexible), which may increase due to business needs. Must be willing to travel to other sites in Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix, and other markets on a quarterly basis.

Key Responsibilities

Digital, Social & PR

  • Help manage day-to-day digital marketing agency relationship and oversee campaigns including paid media, SEO and content.
  • Collaborate with creative and web vendors to maintain consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all digital platforms.
  • Develop and execute social media content strategies that reflect the Modena brand and engage patient audiences.
  • Maintain and update clinic location pages and provider profiles on the Modena website and partner directories.
  • Help draft and distribute press releases related to new clinic openings and other company news.
  • Develop and implement strategies to collaborate with local brands and influencers to launch organic and paid campaigns.

Referral & Community Marketing

  • Work closely with VP of New Business Development to support physician referral growth by creating materials, outreach plans, and local campaigns that engage referring providers.
  • Coordinate community events, open houses, gifting opportunities and sponsorships that build brand visibility and local partnerships.
  • Work with front office staff to develop and manage referral tracking systems to measure ROI and identify high-performing markets.
  • Partner with regional practice managers to ensure local marketing initiatives are aligned with broader brand goals.

Project & Vendor Management

  • Manage external marketing vendors and agencies to ensure timely deliverables and brand consistency.
  • Oversee print production, collateral, signage, and promotional materials for all clinics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support new clinic launches, acquisitions, provider introductions and new service/treatment offerings (ie Oral Immunotherapy).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.

Experience

  • 2–4+ years of marketing experience, ideally within healthcare, wellness, or multi-location service industries.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email automation).
  • Experience managing content calendars, creative vendors, and event logistics.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent writing and communication skills with a sharp eye for brand tone and visual detail.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with Canva, WordPress, Google Analytics, and CRM systems a plus.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $75,000-105,000/year. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skills, education, and experience.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic, if applicable, for extended periods; occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs., bend, stoop, or reach as needed. Frequent use of hands and fingers for patient care and equipment operation. Must have normal (or corrected) vision and hearing and be able to respond quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment, if applicable.
