Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive website traffic, generate leads, and improve customer engagement. This role oversees digital campaigns, social media strategy, SEO/SEM, email marketing, content creation, and analytics to measure performance and optimize marketing efforts. The position requires a data-driven approach to marketing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing return on investment (ROI).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to support business objectives and drive growth.
  • Manage all digital marketing channels, including website, social media, email, and paid advertising.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital initiatives with overall marketing and sales goals.
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize marketing strategies and budgets.

Website and SEO Management

  • Oversee website content and user experience to improve SEO, engagement, and lead conversion.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings.
  • Monitor website analytics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Social Media Management

  • Develop and manage the social media strategy, including content planning, posting schedules, and audience engagement.
  • Monitor social media trends and incorporate best practices to increase brand awareness.
  • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies for improved performance.

Content Marketing

  • Develop a content strategy that aligns with buyer personas and the customer journey to drive lead conversion.
  • Create, curate, and manage digital content, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and videos.
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure compelling and high-quality content that aligns with brand messaging.

Paid Advertising and Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute paid digital marketing campaigns, including PPC, display advertising, and social media ads.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Work with external vendors and agencies as needed to execute digital campaigns.

Email Marketing and Lead Nurturing

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage customers.
  • Segment email lists and personalize messaging for targeted outreach.
  • Analyze email campaign metrics and optimize for improved open and conversion rates.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing efforts.
  • Develop attribution models to connect marketing efforts to lead generation and sales conversion.
  • Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on campaign performance, audience engagement, and ROI.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop digital strategies that support lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Provide guidance and best practices for cross-functional teams to support marketing efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for professional development, including engagement with external marketing resources such as industry groups and certifications.

Tradeshow and Event Promotion

  • Assist in the creation of materials and strategy for tradeshow promotion.
  • Support event marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with digital campaigns.
  • Own the annual trade show calendar, including registration and scheduling: manage show selections, deadlines, contracts/service orders, and the master calendar and budget in coordination with Sales.

Other duties as assigned.

Equipment To Be Used:

Computer, marketing automation software, CRM, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management tools.

Typical Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer for most of the workday.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment with occasional remote work flexibility.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as needed to meet campaign deadlines.

Travel:

Travel based on business need – negligible.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a B2B or B2G environment.
  • Experience managing social media, paid advertising, and content marketing campaigns.
  • Certification in Google Ads, SEO, or marketing automation is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, SEO, SEM, PPC, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, Google Ads, and analytics tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging digital marketing trends
