ABOUT THE JOB: The Marketing Manager researches, crafts, and edits content for wide-ranging corporate communications via print, digital, and other platforms. This role requires expert wordsmithing/editing and storytelling to showcase the company’s products and services in an accurate and compelling way. The Marketing Manager should also be an expert in proper grammar, knowledgeable in AP style, have experience writing for SEO, maintain keen attention to detail, and be a team player who can provide and receive constructive feedback. Experience with content marketing writing and online writing/digital publishing is a big plus.

Responsibilities i

  • Research, write, edit, and final proof compelling marketing content that helps promote our company brand, services, and culture. This includes, but is not limited to, content for email campaigns, direct mail, landing pages, paid media, ads, social media, SEO and blogs
  • Craft wellstructured drafts using digital word processing and publishing platforms and produce polished, finished content.
  • Research and become an expert about our and other industryrelated topics that resonate with our customers, prospects, and staff, and recommend content topics the company should pursue.
  • Interview internal “experts,” outside industry professionals, and customers to incorporate knowledgeable views in various corporate communications, including blog posts.
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) and keyword knowledge and best practices to optimize company content without compromising grammar and readability.
  • Work with design team and others to help illustrate content as needed (e.g. photos for social media, press releases, brochures, etc.)
  • Promote content on social channels and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares).
  • Provide marketing support and assistance for Guy Roofing’s web presence, facilitating accurate and proper company representation on website, social media, and other online arenas.
  • Create SEO Roadmap to optimize Guy Roofing website for 250 keywords through technical & link building efforts with a goal of over 3,000 more visits to the website per month after June 2022 & provide monthly reporting/insights to leadership
  • Creative link building campaigns per year with a goal of 40 links per campaign to sites with DA over 30 Total of 4 per year (1 per quarter)
  • Weekly blog posts Total of 52 per year
  • B2B Monthly Targeted Email Campaigns with content gives (whitepapers, case studies, etc), use of industry specific videos, testimonials, quizzes built out etc. (Full usage of Hubspot inbound marketing capabilities). Content should be neutral, not salesy, and add value to our customer’s inboxes Total of 12 per year
  • B2B Tradeshow campaigns goal to get 1 published piece on each tradeshow association’s website or print piece (ie BOMA a building management piece published on BOMA.com), KPIs for each show will be established 3 months prior (ex. x # of content pieces downloaded, x# of in booth appointments set, etc)
  • B2C BiMonthly Email Campaigns Total of 6 per year.
  • Social Media Develop content to grow social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram) by 50 followers each per month
  • Development of at least 1 new content piece per month & report on performance (ex. website/email downloads, page views, video views, conversions, etc) Content to include, but not limited to: articles, press releases, infographics, videos (work with promotions producer to develop what you need for various campaigns), eBooks, white papers, podcasts, free tools, guides, webinars, case studies, contests, research reports content should be adapted and promoted to create a seamless multichannel experience
  • Develop & maintain a yearly content marketing calendar

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Management
  • Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Strong Knowledge in digital marketing and social media marketing
  • Proven experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at a time
  • Strong communication skills written and oral
