The Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating all corporate marketing efforts to meet the company’s overall strategic goals. The manager position must also make sure business development efforts relate back to the corporate marketing strategies. He/she must work the management team to implement all strategic marketing plans and associated business development plans. In implementing this person would be responsible to obtain all outside sources necessary to achieve goals and lead the internal effort to ensure a unified approach to all marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrator to company CRM system by managing client information and running reports to analyze new leads, sales pipeline and daily activities. Generates e-blast from CRM contacts and tracks client interaction.
- Manages the companies Center of Influences by coordinating and arranging engagements, tracking return on investments, coordinating company marketing efforts and performing evaluations of effectiveness.
- Creates brand guidelines and applies them to all company graphics, marketing collateral, internal and external proposal documents.
- Works with sales team to set up marketing events and sponsorships. Analyzes return on investment and reports to management team.
- Maintains company website by editing marketing content and coordinates overall website design. Analyzes website traffic and reports data for marketing strategies to create maximum visibility.
- Improve marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Manages photography library and end of project photo sessions to obtain the best images for marketing uses.
- Content writing including e-blasts, press releases and article publications. Coordinates the production of all TV/Video content.
- Researches applicable project awards and prospective speaking engagements and/or presentations.
- Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
- Understand corporate brand and develop a brand awareness through social media. Generate inbound traffic by creating relevant content and funneling through all applicable social media channels.
- Acts as liaison for internal communication of firm-wide marketing news and developments.
- Maintains a reporting system for sales and marketing costs; reviews marketing performance summaries and tracks return on investments.
- Develops market specific materials. Improves overall quality of marketing procedures, people and product.
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
- Manages the Design with Dignity Program by identifying partnerships, setting up and executing the programs.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Equivalent of Bachelor’s Degree in associated field, 8 years’ experience.
- Highly analytic to forecast and identify trends and challenges and has the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Motivates employees with a high energy level and optimism.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understands the need for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, customer care, and the knowledge of the market place in which the company operates.
- Ability to use Abode InDesign
