Marketing Manager – Faith-Based Ministry -

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, purpose-driven Marketing Manager to lead and grow our ministry's marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about connecting people to meaningful resources, building community engagement, and strengthening our organization's mission through thoughtful, data-informed strategies.
The Marketing Manager will oversee marketing planning, digital communication, branding, and campaign execution. A strong ability to analyze email and audience data—and translate these insights into clear, actionable strategies—is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Email & Digital Marketing
- Manage the full lifecycle of email marketing campaigns, including planning, content coordination, testing, sending, and performance tracking.
- Analyze email analytics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, segment performance, etc.) and use insights to refine content, targeting, and overall strategy.
- Implement data-driven recommendations to improve engagement, grow the subscriber base, and strengthen audience connection.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that support ministry goals, event promotions, product launches, and ongoing initiatives.
- Create and manage multi-channel campaigns across email, social media, web, and print.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to ensure consistent growth and impact.
Brand & Content Oversight
- Ensure all marketing materials reflect the ministry’s voice, values, and visual identity.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and team members to produce engaging content for a faith-encouraging audience.
- Maintain consistency across all communication channels.
Audience Growth & Engagement
- Identify opportunities to reach new audiences while deepening engagement with existing supporters.
- Oversee list growth strategies, including lead magnets, online events, partner promotions, and content funnels.
- Stay aware of trends in digital communication and audience behavior.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with leadership to ensure marketing strategies align with organizational objectives.
- Manage relationships with contractors, creatives, and partner organizations as needed.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership in clear and actionable formats.
Qualifications - REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in email analytics and the ability to transform data into effective marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices (email platforms, social media, SEO basics, audience segmentation, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to write or oversee content that resonates with a faith-based audience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, email service providers, and web analytics tools.
- A heart for serving people and contributing to a mission-focused team environment.
Qualifications – PREFERRED
- B2C marketing in the faith-based sector
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools

Pay: $49,386.27 - $59,475.93 per year
