Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive foot traffic, and boost sales at Nearbymart Outlets. This role requires a dynamic individual with experience in retail marketing, a creative mindset, and the ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design campaigns that highlight promotions, seasonal offers, and new product lines, ensuring the supermarket’s offerings are effectively communicated to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the supermarket's goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Plan and execute both digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including promotions, events, and seasonal offerings.
- Brand Management:
- Maintain and strengthen the supermarket’s brand image and identity in the local market.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels (advertisements, social media, in-store displays, etc.).
- Customer Engagement & Retention:
- Develop programs to enhance customer loyalty and retention, such as loyalty programs or special promotions for frequent shoppers.
- Use customer feedback and data to continuously improve marketing campaigns and store experiences.
- Advertising & Promotions:
- Coordinate with the advertising team to design and execute print, digital, and outdoor advertisements.
- Plan in-store promotions, including discounts, sales events, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate with suppliers and partners for promotional materials and joint marketing opportunities.
- Social Media & Digital Marketing:
- Manage social media platforms, creating engaging content that promotes the supermarket’s offerings.
- Track and analyze digital marketing campaigns and adjust strategies to optimize reach and engagement.
- Oversee email marketing campaigns, driving customer awareness of new deals and offerings.
- Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Track campaign expenses and report on marketing performance metrics.
- Collaborative Efforts:
- Work closely with store operations to ensure marketing materials align with in-store displays and merchandising.
- Collaborate with the buying and merchandising teams to plan promotions based on inventory levels and product availability.
- Partner with external agencies or vendors to implement large-scale campaigns.
- Event Planning & Community Outreach:
- Plan and coordinate community events, store openings, and other special initiatives to increase foot traffic.
- Represent the supermarket at local events, trade shows, or community activities to promote brand awareness.
- Performance Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, customer acquisition, and ROI from marketing activities.
- Provide regular reports on marketing campaigns and suggest areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in retail or supermarket marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools.
- Experience in budget management and ROI tracking.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with content management systems, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms
- Previous experience working in a supermarket or any retail environment is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced retail environment.
- Occasional evening and weekend work required for event coordination and campaign execution.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
