The Role: Multi-Disciplinary Growth Engine

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who serves as the "Swiss Army Knife" of our organization. This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to "oversee" agencies; this is for a practitioner who moves fluidly across strategy, creative storytelling, and deep-dive analytics.

You are a Full Stack Marketer with the technical expertise to establish connections, manage complex campaigns, and take direct accountability for outcomes. You thrive in ambiguity, crave hard data, and are obsessed with how every marketing initiative translates into pipeline and revenue impact.

Essential Functions

1. Strategy, Positioning & Revenue Alignment

  • ICP Mastery: Deeply understand our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and develop messaging frameworks that resonate across different verticals.

  • Full-Funnel Strategy: Develop and execute strategies that address every stage of the buyer’s journey, from cold awareness to loyal advocacy.

  • Sales Synergy: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Sales team to ensure lead handoff processes and CRM hygiene are seamless.

  • Revenue Focus: Tie every marketing initiative back to tangible pipeline and revenue impact.

2. Demand Gen & Content Storytelling

  • Digital Execution: Manage paid media (Google, LinkedIn, Meta) and SEO/SEM initiatives.

  • Copywriting: Write compelling, high-conversion copy for ads, landing pages, and email automation.

  • Brand Voice: Translate complex technical values into simple, punchy language across video scripts, decks, and social content while maintaining brand consistency.

3. Data, Analytics & Tech Stack Fluency

  • Dashboard Mastery: Live in GA4, HubSpot, and CRM platforms to build, interpret, and present performance dashboards.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Make high-stakes decisions based on hard data and trends, not "gut feelings."

  • Platform Management: Manage our Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), setting up workflows and integrations without needing heavy IT support.

4. Experimentation & Outsource Management

  • Agile Mindset: Adopt a "Hypothesis over Production" mindset—running A/B tests, iterating quickly, and pivoting fast when the data demands it.

  • Vendor Leadership: Determine when to build in-house vs. when to outsource. Scope, brief, and manage 3rd-party agencies and freelancers, holding them accountable to deadlines and Tech Defenders’ brand standards.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Education: 4-year degree preferred (Marketing, Communications, or Business).

  • Experience: Proven track record in a "Full Stack" or Marketing Management role, preferably in tech or a high-growth production environment.

  • Preferred Certifications: * Data: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or HubSpot Reporting.

    • Paid Media: Google Ads Search/Display or Meta Blueprint.

    • Inbound: HubSpot Content Marketing or SEO (Semrush/Ahrefs).

    • Automation: HubSpot Software or Salesforce Administrator.
