About the Role

Pelican Roofing is looking for a high-energy, versatile Marketing Leader to take full ownership of our brand’s growth and lead generation. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines; you will be the driving force behind our marketing department, working hand-in-hand with Sales, Operations, and Administration to ensure Pelican remains the top choice for roofing in our community.

You will be responsible for the entire marketing ecosystem — from managing external agencies to getting creative with internal campaigns. If you are a data-driven strategist who isn't afraid to get your hands dirty with creative execution, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agency Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our SEO and PPC agencies. You must be well-versed enough in digital marketing to audit their performance, hold them accountable to KPIs, and ensure our budget is being utilized effectively.
  • Full-Funnel Social Media Management: Oversee paid social campaigns (Meta, etc.) to drive high-intent leads. You should understand audience targeting, A/B testing, and how to optimize ad spend for the best Cost Per Lead (CPL).
  • Organic Social: Build and maintain an active, authentic presence on Facebook, and Instagram. This includes content planning, community engagement, and leveraging social to highlight our company culture and community impact.
  • Lead Generation Ownership: Take full responsibility for the quantity and quality of leads. You will analyze marketing data weekly and have the authority to shift budgets and tactics based on performance.
  • Sales & Ops Integration: Work closely with the Sales team to align messaging and ensure a seamless handoff from lead to customer.
  • Strategic Communication: Prepare and present performance reports to stakeholders, providing clear insights into ROI and future growth opportunities.
  • Creative Direction: Oversee the "look and feel" of the brand.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in digital and general marketing. You should have a proven track record of managing budgets and driving measurable growth.
  • Social Media Mastery: You understand the nuance between organic storytelling and paid acquisition. You know how to use social media to build trust and capture demand.
  • Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, and social media algorithms. You don't need to be the one pulling every lever, but you must know how the machine works.
  • The "Owner" Mindset: We need someone who treats the marketing department like their own business — proactive, organized, and fiercely accountable.
  • Adaptability: The roofing industry moves fast. You must be able to prioritize urgent tasks without losing sight of long-term goals.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience in the construction or home services industry.
  • A passion for community involvement and local branding.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
