The Food Trust is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Marketing Manager to support the development and implementation of integrated marketing initiatives. This role will focus on strengthening brand clarity, advancing corporate sponsorship strategy, and supporting the positioning and launch of key programs, particularly Cooking Matters.
This is a project-based role designed for a marketing professional who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, translating insights into actionable deliverables.

Review and refine organizational elevator pitch and value propositions across key audiences

Strengthen and align core messaging framework to ensure clarity and consistency

Provide strategic recommendations to enhance brand positioning

Analyze current corporate sponsorship portfolio to identify gaps and growth opportunities

Define and package 2–4 high-value investment opportunities aligned with organizational priorities

Identify and prioritize prospective corporate partners based on strategic alignment

Develop partner personas for both current and prospective sponsors

Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling pitch decks for outreach

Support the marketing strategy and launch of Cooking Matters initiatives

Define target audiences and develop audience personas

Articulate clear value propositions and program positioning

Develop core messaging frameworks and key differentiators

Create marketing assets including:

Program one-pagers (general and audience-specific)

Standardized program descriptions

Pitch decks aligned with fundraising efforts

Impact statements using evaluation data

Internal messaging toolkit for staff

Develop go-to-market strategy including:

Audience rollout sequencing
-
Channel strategy (partners, events, digital, etc.)

Identification of high-impact launch opportunities

Mission-driven work that directly impacts community health and food access

Opportunity to shape and influence high-visibility marketing and partnership strategies

Proven experience in marketing strategy, brand development, and messaging

Experience supporting corporate partnerships, sponsorship strategy, or revenue-generating marketing initiatives

Ability to translate complex programmatic work into clear, compelling messaging

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

Experience developing marketing collateral (pitch decks, one-pagers, toolkits)
