Marketing Manager

Job Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving product launches, retailer engagement, and digital marketing initiatives that support sales growth across Washington State.

This role serves as the primary connection between Sales, Operations, Production, Compliance, and Creative to ensure Fire Bros products launch successfully, receive retailer support, and maintain strong market visibility.

You are highly organized, execution-focused, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment. Success in this role is measured by launch execution, retailer participation, menu presence, and overall contribution to product velocity.

Responsibilities:

LMA – Leadership, Management & Accountability

  • Lead: Set a clear vision for the marketing function, keep the team energized and aligned with company priorities, and communicate goals in a way that connects to the bigger picture.
  • Manage: Set clear expectations, run effective meetings, communicate priorities, deliver timely feedback, and ensure team members have the tools and direction needed to execute.
  • Accountability: Foster a culture where team members own their roles and results. Accountability is the natural outcome of strong leadership and consistent management — not something enforced, but something earned.

Product Launch Management

  • Lead planning and execution of all product launches including flower, vapes, infused products, limited releases, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Build launch timelines and coordinate deliverables across Production, Inventory, Compliance, Sales, and Creative.
  • Ensure all launch materials are completed and distributed prior to product availability.
  • Develop launch kits, retailer communications, and promotional support materials.
  • Track launch performance and retailer adoption.

Retail & Trade Marketing

  • Develop retailer-facing marketing materials
  • Coordinate promotional calendars and retail marketing initiatives.
  • Support vendor days, trade shows, retail activations, and in-store marketing opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales to improve menu placement, retailer engagement, and product visibility.
  • Assist with retailer education and sell-through campaigns.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage retailer email marketing campaigns and promotional communications.
  • Coordinate weekly sales and promotional mailers.
  • Manage social media content planning and execution.
  • Coordinate product photography, video content, and launch announcements.
  • Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all digital channels.

Market Intelligence & Brand Support

  • Monitor competitor activity, promotions, and market trends.
  • Gather retailer feedback and identify opportunities to improve product velocity.
  • Support brand development through consistent messaging and execution.
  • Assist with event planning, promotional activations, and merchandise launches.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in cannabis, CPG, beverage, alcohol, lifestyle, or retail marketing preferred.
  • Experience supporting retail or B2B sales organizations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with: HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
  • Build launch timelines and coordinate deliverables across Production, Inventory, Compliance, Sales, and Creative.
  • Ensure all launch materials are completed and distributed prior to product availability.
  • Develop launch kits, retailer communications, and promotional support materials.
  • Track launch performance and retailer adoption.

Pay: $80,500.00 - $95,000.00 per year
