Clinical Trials Network (CTN) partners directly with physicians and medical practices to help them successfully launch and conduct clinical trials, often for the very first time. We provide end-to-end operational support, including feasibility assessments, regulatory start-up, infrastructure development, staff training, patient recruitment strategy, and ongoing study management.
Job description:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing CTNx’s established marketing strategy, translating leadership direction into high-quality creative, digital, and campaign execution. This role plays a critical role in delivering consistent, value-driven marketing programs that support growth with practices, Sponsors, CROs, and existing network sites.
This is an execution-focused role for a creative marketer who can design, write, build, and launch marketing initiatives. Taking direct ownership of website updates, creative assets, and campaign execution while operating within a regulated clinical research environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Brand, Messaging & Market Execution
- Execute and evolve CTNx’s brand identity, value proposition, and messaging across all audiences (Sponsors, CROs, and existing research sites).
- Clearly communicate why CTNx is different and why partners should choose CTNx over alternatives.
- Ensure consistent messaging across the website, campaigns, social media, sales materials, and network communications.
Competitive Analysis & Growth Support
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify market trends, positioning gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Translate insights into practical, executable marketing initiatives that support network expansion and Sponsor growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve visibility, differentiation, and scale.
Website & Digital Infrastructure
- Own and manage CTNx’s website, including:
- Hands-on WordPress development and ongoing updates
- Page creation, optimization, and content updates
- UX and conversion improvements aligned to growth goals
- Partner with leadership to ensure the website clearly communicates CTNx’s value and drives inbound interest.
Creative & Content Development
- Design and produce creative assets, including:
- Brochures and one-pagers
- Sales and executive presentations
- Social media ads and graphics
- Owned social media content
- Maintain consistent visual identity and messaging standards across all materials.
Social Media & Paid Campaign Management
- Own CTNx’s LinkedIn presence, including:
- Developing and maintaining a content calendar
- Creating original posts and thought leadership content
- Supporting industry visibility and credibility
- Manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns, including:
- Designing ad creative
- Submitting materials for Sponsor and IRB approval
- Campaign setup, execution, and optimization
- Performance tracking and reporting
Sponsor-Focused Marketing
- Develop marketing materials and campaigns designed to drive interest, confidence, and growth with Sponsors and CROs.
- Support Sponsor-facing communications that reinforce CTNx’s scale, quality, and differentiators.
Network Engagement & Loyalty
- Create marketing materials, campaigns, and communication programs to keep existing CTNx sites engaged, informed, and aligned.
- Support the development and execution of a loyalty and engagement strategy that increases retention and long-term network “stickiness.”
- Deliver ongoing value through newsletters, performance updates, and network communications.
Measurement, Analytics & Budget Contribution
- Track campaign performance and overall marketing effectiveness across channels.
- Deliver clear reporting on results, insights, and optimization opportunities.
- Contribute to marketing budget planning and spending decisions.
- Help determine and track the cost of acquiring new practices and Sponsors.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated B2B environment.
- Experience executing brand, content, and growth marketing initiatives.
- Strong practical experience with:
- WordPress
- Paid social advertising (Meta)
- Creative and content development
- Analytics and performance tracking
- Comfortable executing day-to-day marketing work while contributing to higher-level planning and prioritization.
