Marketing Manager (Downstream) - Medical Device

Position Summary/Role and Responsibilities:

At Instylla, our vision is to revolutionize the field of embolotherapy by introducing embolic products that improve outcomes, efficiency, and enable new therapies.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager with strong downstream marketing expertise to help us scale commercialization efforts. This role will focus on creating impactful marketing materials, driving digital campaigns, managing events and conferences, and supporting the sales team with the tools and training needed to succeed.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Marketing Content & Collateral

o Develop engaging marketing materials including brochures, presentations, white papers, videos, and case studies.

o Translate complex product/clinical information into customer-friendly messaging.

o Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

· Events & Conferences

o Lead planning, logistics, and execution of industry conferences and trade shows.

o Coordinate booth design, demos, and promotional campaigns.

o Drive pre- and post-event engagement campaigns to maximize ROI.

o Work with sales to ensure timely follow-up on qualified leads

o Maintain an ongoing relationship with societal partners

· Digital Marketing & Social Media

o Manage website content and optimize for SEO/lead generation.

o Build and execute social media strategy (LinkedIn and X) to raise brand awareness and thought leadership.

o Create and manage email campaigns, newsletters, and digital advertising initiatives.

o Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to improve campaign performance.

· Sales Enablement & Support

o Develop sales tools (presentations, product one-pagers, competitive battle cards, FAQs).

o Partner with commercial leadership to design sales campaigns using AcuityMD.

o Support sales onboarding and ongoing training with updated training content.

o Establish and maintain key sales metrics and analytics.

· Channel & Product Promotion

o Execute product/technology promotional campaigns aligned with commercial goals.

o Contribute to channel marketing strategies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA a plus).

· 5–7 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in MedTech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences.

· Proven experience in downstream marketing (events, campaigns, content, and sales enablement).

· Strong writing and content creation skills.

· Experience in digital marketing (social media, email campaigns, analytics tools).

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.

· Creative, resourceful, and proactive — able to execute with limited resources and pivot quickly.

Knowledge/Skills:

· Strong understanding of downstream marketing activities (content creation, digital, events, sales enablement).

· Proficiency with common digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).

· Knowledge of event and conference logistics, including vendor coordination and onsite setup/breakdown.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive and clear messaging.

· Collaborative mindset, with the ability to partner cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across channels and materials.

· Comfort with occasional hands-on work (e.g., booth setup, shipping logistics) at conferences and events.

· Self-starter mentality with a bias toward execution and adaptability in a startup environment.

Preferred Skills

· Familiarity with translating clinical/technical information into compelling customer messaging.

· Exposure to sales enablement or training programs.

· A data-driven mindset with the ability to track and report campaign ROI, engagement, and metrics.

Working Conditions:

· General office work

· Candidate must be comfortable with booth setup and breakdown activities, which may include lifting and moving boxes or equipment (up to ~30–40 lbs.).

· Flexibility to work extended hours during major events, including some evenings or weekends, as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
