About the Role
As a Global Marketing Manager in Hanwha Corporation’s Explosives Division, you will drive international sales and marketing initiatives with a strong focus on electronic detonators and blasting optimization technologies. You will play a key role in building customer relationships, expanding into new markets, and supporting Hanwha’s leadership in the global explosives industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sales & marketing strategies across multiple regions.
- Lead product promotion and new market development, especially for electronic detonators.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients while exploring new opportunities.
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate product performance and ensure operational excellence.
- Provide expert technical support and application guidance for initiating systems.
- Partner with regional sales teams to prepare proposals and customized solutions.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback (VOC) to guide product and service improvements.
- Support the rollout of new products, including customer training and technical onboarding.
- Advise R&D and business teams on market trends and product development strategies.
- Contribute to blasting optimization and smart mining consulting projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the explosives industry, with at least 7 years in electronic detonators.
- Proven track record in detonator sales, new product promotion, and market development.
- Strong knowledge of initiating systems (electronic and non-electric).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and commercial.
- Ability to design data-driven strategies and clear market reports.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.
- High cultural adaptability and ability to work in diverse, international environments.
- Willingness to travel globally as needed.
