Event Manager III
6 months contract
Part-time - 20 hrs. a week
New York, NY (Hybrid or Remote)
Pay Range: $48/h - $60/h on W2, DOE
Job Description: Develop workback schedules to map out key milestones and deliverables for content development. Conduct research on an event to understand audience and programming needs. Meet with stakeholder teams to learn more about the value of their solutions and announcements. Contribute to content strategy recommendations. Prepare speaker briefs and schedule calls to get feedback from speakers. Support asset gathering/downloads/and organization for event content production. Draft initial scripts and route through stakeholders including PR and Legal to ensure compliance. Partner with creative services to develop corresponding visuals. Schedule and run speaker rehearsals, ensuring they are familiar with content.
Task Breakdown and Workflow
- Spend a couple hours coming up with what’s the best format to capture assets and request assets from stakeholders.
- Drafting communications sent to relevant stakeholders to be sent.
- Appropriate deadlines for asset delivery date.
- Communicating to senior marketing even manager.
- Following up with stakeholders who haven’t submitted their assets.
- Downloading movie files and naming them to box file and linking in tracking doc.
- Scheduling and reaching out to exec assistants.
- Facilitating rehearsal and script.
- Taking notes on calls on content approach or script is being discussed and sharing to marketing team members.
- Reviewing script and creating list of missing assets to secure assets.
- Recommending based on what script is saying, to have an asset here.
