About The Role:
The Marketing Manager, New Markets is responsible for developing and executing the marketing side of the new market entry strategy that drives awareness, demand, and occupancy for new Kiln locations.
In this role, you will help translate Kiln's national brand into authentic, market-specific campaigns and experiences. Working closely with Business Development, Brand, Content, Demand Generation, Community, and external partners, you will oversee the local marketing efforts that introduce Kiln to new communities and establish each location as a meaningful part of the local business ecosystem.
This role blends marketing, launch strategy, content production, community engagement, public relations, partnerships, events, and grassroots brand building. Success requires equal parts creativity, organization, relationship-building, and execution.
About You:
A Focused Doer: You're a jack-of-all-trades who's comfortable dealing with ambiguity. There's already a system and a strategy here, and you're energized by expanding on it rather than waiting for the path to be drawn for you.
A Hands-On Creative: You can make the thing, not just brief someone else to make it. You're comfortable with both the visual and the words, fluent in tools like Canva and just as at home writing copy.
A Go-to-Market Operator: Every new site comes with a list of deliverables, and you're the one who lands them. From the website and signage to swag and on-site setup, you keep each launch on schedule and on brand from "coming soon" all the way to doors open.
A Brand Builder: You think about how a market should feel, not just what gets posted. You can read what a specific location needs and tailor the collateral and messaging to match.
A Community Activator: You know how to build buzz before the doors open. You can find the right people in a new market, stand up an influencer or partnership program, and turn a quiet launch into a community people want to join.
A Road Warrior: Being in the markets you're building is the part you look forward to. You love getting on the ground, learning each market firsthand so the work actually reflects what makes that place tick.
