Position Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our growth strategies. This role is unique as it bridges two distinct areas: Patient Acquisition (driving volume for our clinic) and Referral Development (acting as a liaison to local optometrists and primary care physicians to drive surgical volume).
  • The ideal candidate is a creative strategist who understands healthcare regulations, possesses strong digital marketing skills, and enjoys building relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Define and refine the brand's voice, ensuring consistency across all channels (print, digital, internal).
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth in LASIK, cataract surgery and premium IOLs.

2. Digital Marketing & Advertising

  • Manage the practice’s online presence, including the website (SEO/SEM), Google Business Profiles, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Oversee paid advertising campaigns (PPC, Social Ads) to drive appointments for high-value services (e.g., LASIK consultations).
  • Monitor online reputation; actively manage patient reviews and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction scores.

3. Physician Liaison & Referral Marketing (Business to Business-B2B)

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring Optometrists (ODs) and Primary Care Physicians (PCPs).
  • Organize and host Continuing Education (CE) dinners and networking events for local doctors.
  • Create and distribute referring physician packets, surgical outcome reports, and newsletters to keep our practice top-of-mind for referrals.

4. Content & Community Engagement

  • Create engaging content for patient education, blog posts, email newsletters, and in-office digital signage.
  • Plan and represent the practice at local health fairs, chamber of commerce events, and community outreach programs.
  • Manage internal marketing initiatives to cross-promote services (e.g., educating primary care patients about surgical options).

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost-per-lead, conversion rates, and referral volume.
  • Provide monthly executive reports on marketing ROI to practice leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • 2-5+ years of general marketing experience.
  • Healthcare or Ophthalmology experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a "Physician Liaison" or B2B sales role is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Business Suite.
  • Experience with Email Marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and CRM software.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a strong advantage.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex medical terminology into patient-friendly language.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
