Marketing Manager (Short Term)

About the Role

J.R. Dunn Jewelers is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Marketing Manager to step in during a maternity leave (approx. 4 months) and lead day-to-day marketing execution across digital, ecommerce, and brand initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a well-established luxury brand, where storytelling, client experience, and attention to detail are at the core of everything we do. You’ll play a key role in maintaining momentum across campaigns, events, and major projects—ensuring every touchpoint reflects the elevated standard of our brand.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities with ease, and takes pride in both the creative and operational sides of marketing.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead execution of the email and SMS marketing program (Klaviyo) — including campaigns, automated flows, segmentation, and ongoing optimization
  • Align marketing efforts within Shopify, supporting promotions, and launches in collaboration with our Tech Lead
  • Plan and coordinate in-store events and brand activations, managing logistics, timelines, and vendor communication
  • Be available for occasional evenings or Saturdays to support key events
  • Collaborate closely with our ad agency to optimize performance across Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Own the coordination and launch of our annual magazine, partnering with our Art Director on: Photoshoot styling, Content curation and writing, Vendor coordination and ad placements
  • Partner cross-functionally to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives
  • Monitor performance across channels, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement, conversion, and retention
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on email/SMS.
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo and Shopify
  • Experience working within the luxury industry strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and keep projects moving without heavy oversight
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners
  • A detail-oriented approach with a high standard for execution and brand presentation

Bonus Experience

  • Background in events, retail marketing, or editorial/magazine production
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Experience leveraging AI tools beyond basic use — including data analysis, workflow optimization, and scaling marketing operations

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
