About Revel
Revel is Albuquerque’s premier entertainment destination, hosting national touring concerts, nightlife events, and community experiences. We are looking for a proactive, creative, and highly organized Marketing Director to lead digital marketing and audience development for a growing concert venue brand.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes live music, understands concert marketing cycles, and knows how to drive engagement, anticipation, and ticket sales in a competitive entertainment market.
Position Overview
The Marketing Director will manage day-to-day venue marketing, with a primary focus on promoting national touring acts, delivering consistent and engaging social content, managing the Revel website, and producing monthly newsletters.
This person will collaborate closely with promoters and venue leadership to support event campaigns and elevate the Revel brand.
Daily on-site presence and reliable communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Concert & Event Marketing
- Execute digital marketing campaigns for touring concerts and ticketed events
- Coordinate with promoters to gather and publish marketing assets
- Maintain an updated event calendar and promotional timeline for all shows
- Support nightlife and community programming as secondary marketing priorities
Social Media & Content
- Drive social engagement through consistent posting, storytelling, and short-form content
- Create graphics and promotional materials for upcoming events
- Capture on-site content and behind-the-scenes moments to build excitement and audience connection
Website & Digital Platforms
- Update and maintain the Revel website (WordPress) with accurate event info and ticket links
- Track digital performance and optimize for conversions
Email Marketing
- Create and send monthly (or as needed) newsletters through Hive
- Build audience segments and highlight key shows, announcements, and venue news
Brand Building & Partnerships
- Collaborate on creative promotions, giveaways, influencer partnerships, and community activations
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, visuals, and messaging
- Assist with media outreach and relationships when applicable
Requirements
- Strong experience in concert or live event marketing preferred
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with WordPress website updates
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Hive, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Hands-on social media skillset — especially Instagram & Facebook
- Reliable, organized, excellent communication habits
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Willingness to work occasional nights/weekends for concerts
Bonus Skills
- Basic video editing
- Paid advertising (Meta Business Manager, IG/FB boosting)
- Photography or content capture skills
- Experience working directly with promoters or artist marketing reps

Pay: $48,302.68 - $58,170.96 per year
