About DSC
Designed Structures & Construction (DSC) is a high-quality residential design–build contractor serving the Treasure Valley with remodels, additions, and ADUs. We’re building a scalable, systems-driven company with clear SOPs, strong client experience, and consistent execution. This role is a key step in building an internal marketing engine and reducing reliance on outside vendors.
Schedule: Mon–Fri (flexible); occasional evenings/weekends for jobsite shoots
Location: Treasure Valley, Idaho (Remote to start; local jobsite visits required)
Compensation: $58,000–$66,500 salary DOE + 2-5% performance bonus potential
Overview
We’re hiring an in-house Marketing & Media Coordinator who can own content creation end-to-end and also maintain and update our website (WordPress). We need a hands-on, self-directed professional who can create photo/video content on-site, edit it, publish it, and keep our web presence fresh without constant supervision.
You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and team leads, but you’ll run the marketing execution day-to-day.

Duties
1) Content Creation (Photo + Video + Editing)
- Capture professional-quality before/during/after project content on active jobsites (photo + video).
- Edit photos and videos into high-performing assets:
- Social reels / shorts
- Promo videos
- Project portfolio highlights
- Educational homeowner content (process, materials, quality, “what to expect”)
- Maintain an organized media library (project folders, naming conventions, release tracking).
2) Social Media + Brand Execution
- Own weekly content output across key platforms (Instagram/Facebook and YouTube/Shorts).
- Build consistent “DSC style” and quality standards for posts, reels, and project storytelling.
- Publish content on a set cadence and manage basic community engagement (comments/DM routing as needed).
3) Website Ownership (WordPress)
- Maintain and update the DSC website in WordPress:
- Add/refresh project portfolio pages
- Update service pages (remodels/additions/ADUs)
- Create landing pages as needed
- Perform basic SEO hygiene (title tags, meta descriptions, image optimization, internal linking)
- Coordinate with leadership on priority updates and keep the website current
4) Lead Flow + Tracking + Light Ad Support
- Coordinate with PPC management and ensure campaigns align with current services and landing pages.
- Track lead sources and keep the team informed with a simple monthly summary:
- Lead counts by channel
- What content is performing
- Website improvements shipped
- Priority actions for next month
5) Reputation + Local SEO (Google Business Profile)
- Keep Google Business Profile active and polished:
- Regular photo uploads
- Posts/updates
- Service updates
- Support review capture workflow (templates provided)
- Edit photos and videos into high-performing assets:

- Promo videos
- Project portfolio highlights
- Educational homeowner content (process, materials, quality, “what to expect”)
- Maintain an organized media library (project folders, naming conventions, release tracking).
- Develop and execute multichannel marketing strategies that include social media marketing, content marketing, email campaigns, and print advertising to maximize audience engagement.
- Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook Advertising, Google AdWords, and other paid media channels to increase reach and conversions.
- Utilize SEO best practices to improve website visibility, enhance organic search rankings, and drive targeted traffic through tools like Google Analytics and marketing platforms.
- Create compelling content for various formats including blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and product descriptions using strong copywriting skills.
- Oversee the management of social media platforms and maintain website content using WordPress, HTML, and other web development tools to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
- Monitor campaign performance through analytics tools; generate reports to assess ROI and optimize future efforts for maximum impact.
- Assist in budgeting processes for marketing projects while ensuring efficient allocation of resources across all channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred (or closely related field).
- Proven experience in digital marketing with a strong understanding of SEO, social media marketing, multichannel marketing, and performance marketing techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, Lightroom, After Effects) for content creation; familiarity with HTML and WordPress for website management.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords (now Google Ads), Facebook Advertising, email marketing platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze data insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging messages tailored to target audiences.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams including sales, project management, and creative departments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Construction / remodeling industry experience.
- Drone photo/video experience (Part 107 licensed or willing to obtain is a plus).
- Basic SEO and conversion optimization experience.
- Familiarity with CRMs (Buildertrend a bonus).
Work Style/Logistics
- Remote work initially, but must be local to the Treasure Valley and able to visit jobsites for shoots.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Occasional after-hours shooting depending on jobsite schedules and lighting.
