Reports To: Director – Retail & Brand Development

Purpose of the Role (WHY this role exists)

To make Assam Tea globally admired and locally loved. The mission is to build a strong Goodwyn Tea retail presence across every key tourist destination of Assam — ensuring that before leaving Assam, every second traveler experiences authentic, single-origin Goodwyn Tea.

Key Responsibilities (WHAT the role delivers)

  • Lead the expansion of Goodwyn Tea across Assam’s airports, railway stations, tourist towns, hotels, and cultural hubs.
  • Identify and onboard new retail partners, experience counters, and flagship stores.
  • Create and execute brand campaigns celebrating “Assam’s Tea Legacy.”
  • Design collaborations with Assam Tourism and curate immersive chai experiences.
  • Build consistent digital and offline visibility through engaging content and events.
  • Be the voice and face of Goodwyn — engage, listen, and connect with customers.
  • Launch loyalty programs and experiential chai sessions to make Goodwyn a daily ritual.
  • Define and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Drive performance, profitability, and marketing ROI across all outlets.
  • Build and lead a passionate team of retail storytellers and chai ambassadors.
  • Inspire with energy, empathy, and excellence.

Experience

7–10 years in marketing or sales (FMCG / Perfume / Cosmetic / Lifestyle / Tea industry preferred)

Background

Female candidate, preferably from Assam with a deep cultural connection

Education

Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Brand, or Retail Management

Traits

Extroverted, confident communicator, innovative thinker, relationship-builder

Skillset

Strategic marketing, retail development, storytelling, customer insights

Languages

Fluent in English, Assamese, and Hindi

Travel

Willing to travel frequently across Assam

  • 20+ new Goodwyn Tea touchpoints established in Assam within 12 months
  • Retail sales growth of 50% YOY in Assam region
  • 100,000+ customers served in tourist markets
  • Brand recognition across airports, hotels, and premium stores
