Job Overview

Its Scale is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Operations Budget Controller to oversee marketing budget planning, expense tracking, financial reporting, and operational efficiency across marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, finance, and leadership teams to ensure accurate budget allocation, cost optimization, and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor marketing budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
• Track campaign spending and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and performance summaries.
• Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to improve budget efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Support quarterly and annual financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in budget control, financial analysis, or marketing operations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
