Marketing & Outreach Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly-driven individual, passionate about social justice, to join our organization as a Marketing and Outreach Lead responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns in support of Umano’s growth strategy. In this role, you should be comfortable with day-to-day marketing and outreach activities, as well as executing long-term marketing and stakeholder engagement strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and the changing needs of Umano.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns and stakeholder engagement strategy in support of Umano’s growth objectives
• Lead the execution of marketing and outreach initiatives from start to finish, leveraging internal and external support and driving collaboration
• Track, measure and optimize the impact of marketing initiatives
• Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
• Develop and manage content and social media marketing programs
• Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
• Conduct market research and identify trends

What you bring to the team

• Creativity
• Degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
• Proven experience developing marketing plans and external outreach campaigns
• Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
• Self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
• To be able to travel as needed
