Marketing Project Coordinator

Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing projects, trafficking assets, and maintaining BlueJackets.com for the department and organization. Responsibilities will be focused on activities that build the fan base, generate ticket sales, activate marketing partnerships, drive viewership/listenership of broadcasts, and enhance merchandise sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for the development of web pages, implementation and maintenance for BlueJackets.com.
  • Traffic all marketing inventory through multiple sources: in-game inventory, BlueJackets.com, TV/Radio, Outdoor and additional external and internal advertising platforms.
  • Manage collateral orders, being the primary point of contact with the vendor, ensuring on-time delivery of items and prompt invoicing.
  • Assist the Sr. Director of Marketing with the company project management and collaboration platform WRIKE.
  • Administrative support including maintaining project documentation, updating project plans, sponsorship executions, and preparing reports.
  • Communication and documentation that includes but not limited to preparing meeting notes, and ensuring all documentation is organized.
  • Assist the Marketing Department with execution of team events including but not limited to Hockey for Her, Draft Party, Opening Night and promotional item distribution.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and CBJ home games.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in marketing, business or sports management; and minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training in project management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Software, Google products, Project Management programs including but not limited to WRIKE, Adobe Creative Cloud, Content Management System Forge, HTML/CSS.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
