Duties and responsibilities

At Victory Mission, marketing is about helping Springfield understand problems surrounding abuse, addiction, prison, and poverty, and helping them see that no life is beyond repair. Victory provides people with the tools to rebuild their lives. Our role is to be a mouthpiece for the organization and help inspire lasting change.The Marketing Project Manager is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Marketing. The role focuses on video production, web design, graphic design, and event photography.

Essential Job Functions

Video Production — 40%

Produce and edit long-form and short-form videos with strong story arcs and publish-ready quality
Add captions, basic color correction, and audio cleanup to deliver publish-ready files.
Manage file assets, exports, and version control.

Web Production — 25%

Build and optimize WordPress donor, campaign, and landing pages.
Improve UX, CTAs, forms, analytics, and tracking.
Convert content into SEO-friendly blogs and campaign pages.

Content and Graphics — 25%

Create fast, on-brand graphics and templates in Canva for social media, email, and web.
Turn newsletters, stories, quotes, and testimony videos into web posts, emails, and social captions.
Support internal projects such as event pages, newsletters, and merchandise mockups.

Photography and Event Support — 10%

Capture event coverage, product photos, staff photos, and B-roll for video edits.
Participate in occasional evening and weekend events when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant marketing experience and enthusiasm for storytelling
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
Portfolio demonstrating narrative long-form and short-form video editing.
Portfolio demonstrating experience building web pages with a focus on UX and conversion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

2+ years of marketing experience
Experience with crafting social media, email copy, newsletters, and client stories
Experience in graphic design, videography, and photography
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
Basic CRM familiarity
Basic portable lighting knowledge.
Strong computer skills
Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is regularly required to operate a computer and communicate with donors, participants, guests, partners, vendors, and associates. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. The associate may occasionally manually lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required. The associate may be required to assist in case of emergency situations with participants and associates related to CPR/First Aid procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
