Marketing Project Manager

The Role

Katava Marketing is currently seeking a smart, strategy-conscious, detail-oriented Marketing Project Manager to assist our account owners in daily corporate and client marketing activities. This is a position for candidates who may have gained some experience in a first job or internship, and are ready now for the next step. The ideal applicant is creative, organized, client-oriented and has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is self-directed, and will treat this position like a career and not just a job!

Although we serve clients in various industries, the majority of our client partners are in the healthcare industry.

As Marketing Project Manager, some of your responsibilities include:

  • Support of Account Owners in the execution of client projects.
  • Manage vendors related to client projects.
  • Conduct research based on client project needs.
  • Develop solutions for client-related needs.
  • Enhance our client reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to successfully keep multiple projects on track.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • A distaste for the words “no” and “can’t”
  • Excited about working with equal-minded and driven people

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree (preferably, but not required, in marketing, communications or journalism)
  • Personable, and articulate
  • Self-directed with a strong ability to take direction and own projects
  • Effective project management and organizational skills
  • Sound understanding of traditional, digital, and social media marketing principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Google Suite/Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Google Ads Campaign Management
  • Proficient with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn

As a Marketing Project Manager, you’ll learn to juggle several clients simultaneously, so we’re looking for people who can demonstrate the ability to support and drive various projects at once. You’ll acquire a deep understanding of what it takes for each step of a marketing project to come to fruition. With time, you’ll come to the table with ideas to contribute to the client’s strategy after getting to know them. You are a person who really enjoys diving deeply into the details but can also see the “big picture” and how all the pieces fit together into the client’s larger strategic plan.
