Title: Marketing Product Manager

Type of Position: Full Time

Purpose of job:

The Marketing Product Manager is responsible for executing and developing plans to successfully manage assigned product line.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops business plans, sales forecast, and marketing strategy for assigned product lines which contain the launch plan for new products, advertising and promotional initiatives to support products.
  • Provides input for sales training, sales strategies to address competitive selling activities, positioning of products in the market, and pricing exceptions.
  • Meets with sales force, physicians, clinicians, and R & D staff as needed at meetings, labs, and other functions to support product line.
  • Provides support for sales force and major accounts on daily basis to answer questions about technical questions, pricing, availability, features and benefits of products.
  • Makes direct sales calls to key accounts, attends temporal bone labs to support surgeon training, co-travels with reps to train and support selling activities, attends key meetings, conferences, and exhibits to promote company, and communicates with vendors, clients, and staff on routine marketing activities.
  • Develops sales and marketing literature, advertisements, and material for meetings. Selects products displays, samples, and assist in booth layout.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree desired

Minimum two to five years related experience, medical device preferred

Must have Hepatitis B vaccine or receive vaccine after employment

Other Qualifications:

  • Knowledge - Requires an in-depth knowledge of all company products and health care market experience preferred. Good computer and professional telephone skills and the ability to operate all required office equipment. Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Mental – Requires a relatively high degree of concentration and attention to detail.
  • Physical – Requires walking/standing approximately 5% of time; sitting approximately 95% of time; lifting up to 25 lbs. approximately 15% of time; stooping, forwarding bending and crouching approximately 5% of time. Sometimes requires standing eight hours a day at meetings and conventions. Must be able to travel.
  • Environmental – Requires capability of performing essential job functions in an office environment with climate-control and good lighting
  • Manual Dexterity – Requires use of hands and arms to operate telephones, facsimile machines, computers and other general office equipment, to record written information and maintain files.
  • Audible – Requires the ability to verbally communicate with customers, distributors and co-workers in person and via telephone.

Quality System Regulation Requirements:

Requires a knowledge of;

1) The Food and Drug Administration's QSRs such as 21 CFR Part 820;

2) International Quality System Regulations such as ISO 13485, Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, Canadian Medical Device Regulations SOR/98-282, Brazil's GMP Requirements for Medical Device sand IVDs, Australia's Therapeutic Goods (Medical Devices) Regulations and any other relevant international regulations as they relate to product registrations/licensing, product labelling/IFUs, complaints, adverse events and product traceability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
