The Law Office of Barry E. Janay, P.C. (LOBEJ) is an entrepreneurial and rapidly growing multi-practice law firm serving the Northern New Jersey and NYC metropolitan area. We handle estate matters, real estate, business law, litigation, and more. We already partner with top Google Local Services advertisers and a developing SEO / Answer Engine Optimization team, and we’re seeking a results-focused Marketing Project & Outreach Coordinator to manage these initiatives, strengthen our presence, and drive local professional outreach.

This role is execution-oriented: you’ll monitor vendors, organize deliverables, push projects forward, and coordinate brand outreach in our local markets. Creativity helps, but above all, we need someone organized, persistent, and proactive in follow-up.

What You’ll Do

Project & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate ongoing projects with digital marketing vendors (GLSA, SEO, AE optimization, website support, local ad programs).
  • Track deadlines, follow up weekly, and ensure deliverables are completed and on-brand.
  • Maintain performance reports (calls, lead flow, spend, rankings, etc.).

Social Media & Content Coordination

  • Manage scheduling and approvals for social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Collaborate with designers on Canva/Adobe assets (business cards, brochures, firm promos).
  • Ensure LOBEJ’s tone remains consistent: professional but human, community-focused, not boilerplate legal fluff.

Local Networking & Outreach

  • Develop and maintain outreach to local realtors, financial advisors, CPAs, lenders, community leaders, chambers of commerce, and business associations.
  • Research and schedule speaking engagements, webinars, sponsorships, and community events.
  • Support brand visibility in Northern NJ / NYC with targeted partnership campaigns.

Website & Performance Support

  • Coordinate basic updates on WordPress (posting content, updating bios/practice pages, fixing small edits).
  • Work with vendors on conversion rates, tracking, and user experience improvements.
  • Monitor analytics and provide clear, actionable summaries (no jargon).

We’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years experience in marketing coordination, social media management, digital project management, or law firm marketing (preferred).
  • Strong follow-up discipline — you don’t ask twice; you get answers.
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads/GLSA/SEO (or the ability to learn fast).
  • Strong writing/editing skills (no legalese required; clarity > complexity).
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Canva or Adobe tools a plus (not required).
  • Comfortable attending occasional local outreach events in NJ/NYC metro.
  • Organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and team-minded.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Livingston, NJ 07039
