Marketing Proposal Manager

CES Consultants, Inc. is looking for a Proposal Manager experienced in producing Civil Infrastructure, Engineering, Program Management, Construction Management/Inspection, CMAR, and/or Design-Build proposals for medium to large project pursuits, primarily in Florida. Hybrid/Remote (South Florida preferred)

The Role

The Proposal Manager mainly focuses on holistic proposal/presentation development, leading and producing pursuits of all sizes, but mainly in the medium to large-value range. May serve as mentor to junior-level marketing personnel. This role is responsible for:

• Lead the production of business development/marketing support material such as qualification packages, proposals, presentations and leave behind material.

  • Manage the proposal process from start to finish to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Actively participate in pursuit strategy discussions, analyze RFQ/RFP, develop and maintain proposal outlines and schedules, coordinate efforts of internal and external team, conduct kick-off meetings.
  • Contribute to and often lead development of win themes and analysis and strategy meeting facilitation and/or leadership.
  • Develop graphics and layout consistent with company brand to further deliver win themes.
  • Take leadership role in developing pre-sell material / leave behinds for client meetings and shortlist presentations.
  • Regularly update and maintain OpenAsset master resume and project libraries.
  • Maintain and update information in AI-assisted Proposal Software.
  • Maintain and update information in Acumatica to include opportunity data, project information, activities, and account strategy/plan. Ensure accuracy and completion by CSMs.
  • Assist in the development and lead, as needed, initiatives ranging from collateral material, tradeshow support, photography, advertising, and other programs.
  • Other activities deemed necessary from time to time

What you bring:

• Undergraduate degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or related field.

• 7+ years of experience in AEC marketing.

• Skills in creating graphics, imagery, and video content for proposals, presentations, web, and social media a plus.

• Understanding of South Florida public sector solicitation process, a plus.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Willingness to assume responsibility, take ownership, be proactive and make decisions.

• Highly organized with an independent self-starting personality that is effective working independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to understand and clearly communicate a wide range of business development and marketing initiatives.

• Strong ability to write and edit technical text for various audiences tight, competing deadlines.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with OpenAsset and AI-assisted Proposal Software a plus.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Understanding of Florida, DMV, and New York/New Jersey public sector solicitation processes a plus.
