Job Summary:
The Marketing Relations Manager must collaborate with the REACHUP Executive Leadership Team to plan, organize, manage, and execute approved marketing activities and tactics as well as tracking, measuring, and reporting their results. This individual will work collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team, Managers, Staff, and others on behalf of the organization.

The Marketing Relations Manager specializes in all forms of marketing best practices and executes a wide range of tasks including, but not limited to inbound marketing, external marketing, website messaging, analytics and advertising tracking, email marketing strategy, list segmentation, and any other defined by the Executive Leadership Team.

This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements. The individual will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive working relationship with local and statewide media, community leaders, and REACHUP leadership and staff. This position reports to Advancement Director.

Duties and Responsibilities


Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop measurable goals and objectives for the comprehensive REACHUP, Inc. Marketing Plan.
Strategize, execute, and analyze digital marketing campaigns and marketing projects for various internal partners within the assigned focus area.
Partner with designated departments to help drive operational goals and local marketing efforts, while acting as the primary point of contact for marketing concerns.
Measure and report performance of digital and medial marketing campaigns and assess against goals.
Execute on social media posting, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) tactics.
Develop and maintain effective inbound marketing, email marketing strategy for client leads and donor prospects.
Identify trends and stay abreast of digital marketing technologies.
Collaborate, as necessary, with applicable partners, including partnering with applicable digital and marketing vendors for strategy and execution.
Stay abreast of federal and state legislation that could directly or indirectly impact marketing and communication strategies.
Collect and analyze campaign data, and develop reports as needed.
Collaborate with other members of the Executive Leadership Team to implement industry-leading practices on websites, as active participant in the campaign collateral creation process.
Produce annually the REACHUP Annual Report in a digital format.
Assist on marketing materials, special projects and events as needed.
Work with the advancement team and grant writer to effectively communicate with donors on a regular basis.
Assist in preparing proposals and other projects for non-foundation or corporation projects as requested.
Professionally represent REACHUP, Inc. in business and community meetings and events.
Demonstrate experience developing and delivering presentations as needed.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Travel domestically as needed for meetings and team building.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:


A demonstrated history of successfully building a marketing campaign from conception to implementation.
Proven experience with marketing project management.
Proven success in establishing relationships with individuals and corporate entities.
Extremely organized, meticulous with details, and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize work and resources independently.
Must be able to collaborate with all levels of staff to identify and match the needs of the various departments with REACHUP.
Requires the ability to analyze situations and implement appropriate actions and responses in a timely manner.
Strong writing and proofreading skills to develop professional marketing and branding materials.
Ability to clearly articulate the mission of REACHUP, Inc.
Demonstrated success in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and reviewing work to meet required deadlines.
Gather data, analyze information, and prepare reports.
Working knowledge of marketing and communication methodologies, digital campaigns, print media, email marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising.
Knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, processes, and available resources.
Understanding of key marketing concepts including advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media strategy.
Strong ability to take initiative and follow through with minimal supervision.
Requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to contribute to and maintain a cohesive team environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Must be able to learn and utilize marketing/organizational software platforms.
Requires the ability to be sensitive to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

Additional hours may be required to attend meetings, fundraising, and programmatic events, including weekends.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in marketing/communications or a related field is preferred and a minimum of three years of related experience in a similar position; or any combination of training, education, and experience which would provide the required knowledge, abilities, and skills.
