Position Overview

The Marketing & Sales Support Specialist will partner with the Sales and Leadership teams to amplify brand awareness, drive lead generation, and streamline the sales process. This role blends marketing execution with hands-on sales support. A key focus of this position is the ongoing management and optimization of LPI’s digital presence, including the website, resource site, and social channels.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Consistently manage and update LPI’s website, resource site, landing pages, and social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn) to ensure content is accurate, visually compelling, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral, including sell sheets, one-pagers, presentations, and case studies.
  • Create packaging design samples for future production to be sent to customers.
  • Manage email campaigns (Salesforce or similar), contact lists, and basic HTML templates; track and report results.
  • Collaborate with external agencies for print and web marketing to produce ads and ad campaigns.
  • Work with trade-show and event agencies on activations, advertising opportunities, and booth setup.
  • Coordinate industry events and trade shows: logistics, booth materials, and promotional items.
  • Ensure all marketing materials reflect LPI capabilities, sustainability messaging, and current technology.

Sales Support

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to ensure proper usability of the CRM platform and maintain data hygiene.
  • Coordinate sample shipments to prospects and customers.
  • Warm up leads and interface directly with clients before passing them to the sales team.
  • Provide administrative support for sales meetings and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, inside sales, or sales support roles preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create concise, persuasive copy.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce experience is a plus) and basic digital marketing tools.
  • Experience or familiarity with industries such as health, beauty, wellness, spirits, confections, or premium consumer goods is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Competencies

  • Digital presence management: maintaining websites, resource hubs, landing pages, and professional social media channels.
  • Agency & vendor coordination: working with marketing, print, and event agencies to execute campaigns and activations.
  • Initiative & creativity: identifying marketing opportunities and executing with a premium aesthetic.
  • Collaboration: working closely with sales reps, production teams, and leadership.
  • Customer focus: understanding expectations of high-end brand clients and reflecting that standard in all deliverables.
  • Market familiarity: knowledge of health, beauty, wellness, spirits, confections, and premium consumer goods sectors.
  • Sales team support: ability to support a sales team effectively.
  • Leadership interaction: comfortable interfacing with senior leadership and cross-functional departments.
  • Event coordination: experience coordinating trade shows or marketing events is a definite plus.
