Compensation: $38,000-$52,000. Probationary period required.

Dress Code: We are a professional services firm, business casual is the required dress code.

Work Environment: Shared office environment in Austin, TX. Normal business hours, CST.

Benefits: This role, following probationary period, is eligible for the following benefits including medical allowance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, and paid holidays. After one year, potential participation in the annual team bonus.

About the Position: As a Marketing & Special Projects Coordinator, you will play a significant role in PTG’s ability to fulfill our core mission to clients. Marketing & Special Projects Coordinators must bring sharp analytical skills, a passion for working in a highly collaborative and values-driven environment, and if possible, a track record of successfully building, launching, and managing effective marketing campaigns. This person will hold a pivotal role in advancing PTG’s plans to scale its client base meaning this future team member must help fill a critical gap by executing marketing tasks aligned with the company’s broader business goals. Day-to-day responsibilities may include participating in article and blog write ups, social media management, collateral design, email campaign development, proofreading memorandums, analyzing marketing performance reports, launching paid advertising initiatives, improving SEO visibility, and optimizing websites or landing pages.

This position requires a dynamic individual capable of multitasking as the business experiences growth and the marketing department is increasingly called upon to support an expanding workload. Essential Responsibilities & Functions of the Role:

  • Master a deep understanding as it relates to PTG’s core service offerings.
  • Support special projects and programs that are currently in effect or in progress.
  • Ensure all materials, deliverables, and processes are consistent with PTG’s standards of excellence.
  • Conduct research and analysis to make recommendations as PTG expands its outreach into new verticals.
  • Collaborate and work in tandem with fellow team members in Marketing and Business Development departments.
  • Produce and generate written content drafts for purposes of advertising, email outreach, social media posts, blog articles, and other internal or external communications.
  • Engage and collaborate with team members routinely through department meetings to advance business goals.
  • Contribute to the development of new campaigns and help execute marketing strategies to achieve campaign objectives.
  • Curate and analyze performance data to support decision-making and campaign effectiveness.
  • Assist in the execution of data-driven marketing strategies to achieve measurable results.
  • Monitor, track, interpret, and optimize campaign metrics gathered from tracking software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly campaign performance reports to the Marketing and Business Development teams.
  • Support day-to-day marketing department efforts as discussed in meetings and assist with the delivery of marketing materials.
  • Participate in organizing marketing collateral and materials within internal software systems.

Experience/Qualifications and Requisite Skill Development for this Position:

  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads & Campaign Manager, and various SEO tools.
  • Intimate knowledge of email marketing best practices and the process of initiating, launching, and overseeing email campaigns start to finish utilizing email marketing software.
  • Participation in fostering professional relationships with clients, partners, and industry associations to position PTG as a reputable leader in our vertical.
  • Ability and willingness to work effectively with remote team members and coordinate cross-functional projects while accommodating varying schedules.
  • Detail-oriented approach to producing graphic design visuals and materials. Comfortable using graphic design software such as Canva and Adobe Express.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, including editing, optimizing, and maintaining website performance to prevent interruptions for clients or site visitors.
  • Comfortable using internal communication platforms (Box, Slack, and Google Workspace: Drive, Sheets, Slides, Meet).
  • Desire to become a well versed writer and with the ability to produce quality written content for internal and external audiences, including clients and team members.
  • Thorough in proofreading and performing quality checks on memorandums, documents, submittals, and other materials.
  • Higher education experience (minimum 2+ years at a college or university preferred). A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, public relations, finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time employment in a related role; corporate office experience preferred.

Preferred Experience Requirements:

  • Talented in graphic design creation using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) software for social media, collateral, and corporate branding purposes.
  • Advanced knowledge of email marketing and email automation software to reach mass audiences, with the ability to implement strategies that increase open rates and conversions.
