Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized Marketing Strategist & Research Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing department by analyzing, optimizing, and informing various marketing efforts to enhance our local brand presence and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, a passion for promotion and brand strategy and has experience and knowledge in the Southern California market and demographics.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and implement dynamic, data-driven localized marketing strategies that support brand objectives across digital platforms, social media channels, and markets.

● Research and monitor consumer trends, market behavior, industry conversations, and engagement opportunities across digital platforms and community channels, proactively adapting strategies as needed.

● Manage paid campaign setup, targeting, optimization, and analytics across platforms, using performance data to define the ideal demographic and guide creative needs.

● Support the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple brands, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies.

● Conduct ongoing market, demographic, and competitive research to identify opportunities for growth across social media, local events, and brand marketing initiatives. Translate insights into actionable recommendations.

● Provide strategic direction and messaging guidance for promotional materials and digital assets created by the creative team.

● Incorporate SEO and keyword best practices into content planning to enhance visibility and audience reach across digital and web platforms. Implement optimization strategies to support organic growth.

● Analyze social media metrics, website analytics, and campaign performance to generate actionable insights.

Qualifications:

● 1–5 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, social strategy, or market research, ideally within an agency or fast-moving brand environment.

● Strong initiative with the ability to take ideas from concept to execution.

● Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing principles, including social media, paid campaigns, audience targeting, and analytics.

● Understanding of the Southern California market, including key demographic insights and consumer behavior trends.

● Proven experience developing and managing local community partnerships and proven success executing hyper-localized marketing initiatives tailored to specific neighborhoods and communities.

● Experience in growing/building brand presence.

● Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail in all content produced.

● Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

● Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data using analytics tools to inform marketing strategy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
