Summary
We’re looking for a strategic, highly creative Marketing Specialist who can both think and do. This role blends content creation, campaign strategy, partner marketing, and hands-on execution across social, email, web, and multimedia.
You will manage content workflows, build campaigns that drive measurable pipeline, own relationships with industry organizations, and strengthen Key Code Media’s brand presence across the broadcast, post-production, and AV systems integration markets.
This role is perfect for a seasoned marketer comfortable writing copy, designing visuals, editing videos, managing channels, producing content and orchestrating multi-touch campaigns from concept through analytics.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop and execute a content strategy aligned to technical services, vertical markets, and industry trends.
- Write high-quality copy for blogs, landing pages, emails, ads, social media, and video scripts.
- Produce graphics, thumbnails, infographics, and promotional materials using Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Edit short-form content, interviews, and podcast clips in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Campaign Management
- Build integrated marketing campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, and qualified leads.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop messaging, offers, and content that support revenue goals.
- Oversee email marketing strategy, segmentation, automation, and performance reporting through HubSpot.
Partnership & Community Marketing
- Own relationships with key industry organizations (e.g., SMPTE, SVG, SBE, HPA, NAB, and regional AV/broadcast associations).
- Coordinate co-branded webinars, sponsorships, in-person events, and content collaboration.
- Ensure Key Code Media maintains a strong presence across partner platforms and communities.
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Manage day-to-day posting across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Create platform-appropriate content (graphics, reels, clips, carousels, stories).
- Monitor community engagement and respond on behalf of the brand.
- Optimize channels for growth, SEO value, and audience retention.
Marketing Operations & Reporting
- Track and report on campaign performance, KPIs, attribution, and ROI.
- Maintain accurate data, workflows, and dashboards within HubSpot CRM/Marketing Hub.
- Deliver monthly performance summaries to the VP of Marketing with optimization recommendations.
- Manage social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Optimize website content using SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
- Coordinate with sales teams to create compelling advertising materials.
- Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics and other tools.
- Support content creation including copywriting for blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Assist in managing marketing automation tools to streamline outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.'
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, content production, or digital communications.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end marketing campaigns and content pipelines.
- Strong writing, editing, conceptual storytelling, and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with:
- HubSpot (Marketing Hub/CRM)
- Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Social media scheduling and analytics tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where you own strategy and execution.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and executive leadership.
Preferred (Big Plus):
- Experience in systems integration, broadcast technology, post-production, or AV industry.
- Familiarity with production workflows, live event technology, NLEs, MAM systems, or creative tools.
- Past involvement with SMPTE, SVG, NAB, or related industry groups.
- Experience shooting or producing simple video content (even smartphone-level).
