Role Overview
The Marketing & Reservation Executive is responsible for managing guest reservations, ensuring high occupancy rates, and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote holiday homes. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and digital marketing skills to deliver excellent customer service and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Reservation Management
- Handle all incoming booking requests from Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and direct channels.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries with correct pricing and availability.
- Confirm reservations, issue booking confirmations, and manage cancellations/modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations in the channel manager (e.g., HostAway).
- Coordinate with housekeeping and operations teams to ensure apartments are ready for check-in.
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after guest stays to secure positive reviews.
Marketing & Promotion
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to increase visibility of listings.
- Optimize online listings with professional photos, engaging descriptions, and competitive pricing.
- Manage company social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) to grow followers and engagement.
- Collaborate with influencers, bloggers, and travel agencies to increase exposure.
- Monitor competitors’ pricing and develop attractive promotions or seasonal packages.
- Work on SEO and Google ranking strategies for the company website.
Guest Relations
- Act as the main point of contact for guests, providing timely responses and solutions.
- Address complaints or issues promptly to maintain high review scores.
- Implement strategies (welcome gifts, loyalty offers) to encourage repeat bookings.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily and monthly reports on reservations, occupancy, and revenue.
- Work closely with management to achieve business development targets.
- Provide feedback and ideas to improve guest experience and marketing performance.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in holiday homes, hospitality, or reservations.
- Strong understanding of OTA platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia).
- Experience with channel managers/PMS systems (e.g., HostAway, Guesty).
- Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic or French is a plus).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
