Position Overview:
As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, editing, optimizing (SEO), and publishing content across all of our social media channels. You will manage accounts, interact with audiences, track performance, and keep your finger on the pulse of the latest trends and platform best practices. You’ll help build community, support our brand voice, and increase engagement and reach.Indeed+1
Key Responsibilities:
- Record, edit, and produce high-quality social media content (video, image, text).
- Write compelling captions and copy tailored to each platform.
- Schedule and publish content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Manage social media accounts: respond to comments, messages, and community engagement.
- Monitor social media conversations and trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Use SEO best practices to optimize posts, video titles, captions, and descriptions.
- Track and report on social media metrics and KPIs (reach, engagement, click-throughs, follower growth).
- Help manage social media groups and community interactions.
- Maintain an organized social media content calendar.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social media with broader marketing goals.
- Stay current on platform algorithm changes, tools, and industry trends.Indeed+1
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Comfortable recording and editing video content.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and current social media trends.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and KPI tracking.
- Ability to operate and master all major social platforms effectively.
- Good organization, time management, and communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for social media and digital engagement.
