Marketing Specialist

Role Overview

The Marketing Specialist supports PLAYBOOK's marketing and community strategy by executing high-quality content, coordinating webinars and events, and ensuring consistent engagement across digital platforms. This role blends creativity with operational precision — translating strategy into compelling content and seamless program delivery across social media, community platforms, and live activations.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

- Execute the monthly content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, and email

- Draft captions, short-form copy, scripts, and carousel outlines

- Coordinate with design to produce visually aligned content

- Schedule and publish posts across platforms

- Repurpose webinars and events into clips, quotes, and educational content

- Monitor engagement performance and submit weekly summaries

Webinar & Program Coordination

- Manage end-to-end webinar logistics (Zoom setup, reminders, speaker coordination)

- Prepare run-of-show documents and briefing notes

- Coordinate presentation decks and speaker materials

- Track registrations, attendance, and engagement metrics

- Repurpose webinar content into social and community assets

- Support follow-up communication post-event

Community Engagement Support

- Collaborate with Community Lead to align content with engagement campaigns

- Support WhatsApp and in-app activations through prompts and discussion topics

- Collect testimonials and user-generated content

- Assist in member challenges and interactive initiatives

- Gather qualitative feedback from community interactions

Event & Activation Support

- Support planning and execution of in-person meetups and activations

- Coordinate event logistics, vendors, and materials

- Assist with event marketing rollouts

- Ensure on-brand experience across all touchpoints

- Prepare post-event recap content and summaries

Project & Campaign Coordination

- Track campaign timelines and deliverables

- Follow up with speakers, partners, and collaborators

- Maintain content and event trackers

- Support cross-functional coordination between marketing, community, and growth teams

Requirements

- 2–4+ years in content creation, marketing coordination, or event support

- Strong writing skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

- Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools

- Excellent organization and time management skills

- Confident communicator when liaising with speakers and partners

- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
