Job Title: Marketing Specialist – B2B Conferences & ExhibitionsRole Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist with a strong background in B2B conferences and exhibitions to lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for high-level industry events.
This role is strictly suited for professionals who have hands-on experience within conference and exhibition companies, with proven ability to drive delegate registrations, exhibitor engagement, sponsor visibility, and industry participation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing digital performance, and aligning closely with sales and production teams to ensure commercial success of each event.
Candidates from FMCG, e-commerce, agency-only, or purely consumer marketing backgrounds will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for conferences, exhibitions, and summits
- Define clear plans for delegate acquisition, exhibitor marketing, and sponsor visibility
- Build event positioning, value propositions, and audience segmentation strategies
- Align marketing timelines with conference production, sponsorship, and sales teams
2. Delegate & Visitor Acquisition
- Drive targeted campaigns to achieve delegate, visitor, exhibitor, and sponsor acquisition goals
- Execute multi-channel campaigns across:
- Email marketing platforms (Zoho)
- LinkedIn (organic and paid campaigns)
- Google Ads (Search, Display, Retargeting)
- Industry databases and media partnerships
- Optimize performance metrics including CPL (Cost per Lead) and CPR (Cost per Registration)
3. B2B Content & Industry Messaging
- Oversee development of high-impact content including:
- Conference agendas and speaker announcements
- Exhibitor and sponsor promotions
- Targeted email campaigns
- LinkedIn thought leadership content
- Ensure messaging resonates with senior-level audiences such as CXOs, Technical Heads, Engineers, and Procurement Leaders
- Collaborate with conference producers to translate technical topics into compelling marketing narratives
4. Exhibitor & Sponsor Marketing Support
- Develop marketing toolkits for exhibitors and sponsors
- Manage co-branded campaigns, partner promotions, and exhibitor outreach
- Support sales teams with pitch decks, audience insights, and marketing collateral
- Track and ensure delivery of sponsor-related marketing commitments
5. Digital Marketing & Performance Tracking
- Manage event websites, landing pages, and registration funnels
- Optimize conversion rates and user journeys
- Track, analyze, and report on:
- Registration numbers
- Lead quality
- Campaign ROI
- Engagement metrics
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data
6. Team & Vendor Management
- Lead and mentor internal marketing team members
- Manage external stakeholders including designers, media partners, digital agencies, and vendors
- Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, production, operations, and design teams
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B event marketing (conferences/exhibitions mandatory)
- Expertise in digital marketing, performance campaigns, and lead generation
- Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms (preferably Zoho ecosystem)
- Ability to manage multiple events and campaigns simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical mindset with focus on ROI and campaign performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to AED6,000.00 per month
