Position:

We are seeking a creative, strategic Marketing Specialist to help grow brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty for TravlFi and DISH Outdoors. This role will focus on organic social media strategy and execution and email marketing strategies, helping shape how our brands connect with customers across the RV, travel, and outdoor lifestyle space.

The ideal candidate is both a planner and a doer—someone who can build smart strategies, develop compelling messages, manage editorial calendars, and execute consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

Organic Social Media

  • Develop and execute organic social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, and emerging platforms
  • Create and manage monthly and quarterly content calendars
  • Write and refine platform-specific copy aligned to brand voice and customer needs
  • Collaborate with creative and customer teams to develop engaging content themes
  • Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages across social media platforms, maintaining consistent brand voice and tone while fostering engagement and positive customer experiences.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement and growth trends

Email Marketing

  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns including newsletters, product updates, promotions, and nurture journeys
  • Develop segmentation and personalization strategies to improve targeting and performance
  • Build and manage automated nurture flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, onboarding, retention)
  • Optimize subject lines, creative, and calls-to-action through testing and performance analysis

Strategy & Messaging

  • Support brand messaging development and campaign positioning
  • Translate customer insights into compelling storytelling and campaign themes
  • Align social and email strategies with broader business and product goals

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of experience in organic social media and/or email marketing
  • Experience building and managing content calendars
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Experience developing messaging frameworks and campaign strategies
  • Familiarity with email platforms and marketing automation tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and eagerness to develop new skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in RV, travel, outdoor, or lifestyle brands
  • Experience with eCommerce or subscription marketing
  • Familiarity with SEO, AEO, and AI-driven content best practices
  • Experience using tools such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field

Working Conditions:

  • A majority of time is spent sitting
  • The workday is spent in a comfortable, fun office environment within the marketing department
  • Some standing and walking may be necessary but are not essential to performing the job responsibilities
  • There is some exposure to noise
