Job Title: Marketing Strategist
Department: Sales
Reports to: Managing Director

Summary:
The Marketing Strategist develops marketing campaigns aligned with the principles and goals of Fidelity Express, executes those campaigns, and performs both on-going and after-action analysis to leadership. This role has a high level of independence and is responsible for all marketing actions at Fidelity Express, including social media, signage, and advertising.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops a deep understanding of the cash financial services industry, including technology trends, demographics, and common customer journeys.
  • Works with the Managing Director to develop the Fidelity Express marketing strategy.
  • Creates campaigns that serve the overall business strategy.
  • Develops ROI predictions on individual campaigns.
  • Ensures timely and thorough execution of campaigns, ads, events, and other marketing actions.
  • Creates objective goals for all marketing actions.
  • Evaluates all campaigns against stated goals and provides analysis of campaign dynamics.
  • Ensures websites SEO strength against competitors.
  • Manages the marketing budget for Fidelity Express.
  • Works to develop copy, graphics, photography, and other media to support the Fidelity Express business.
  • Conduct ongoing marketing analysis: competitive research, customer segmentation, channel performance, attribution modeling, ROI tracking.
  • Ensures timely and professional customer communication through marketing and client channels.
  • Maintains quarterly goals.
  • Participates in functional team meetings and proposals to senior staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
At least 5 years of marketing experience within the financial services or retail industries. Demonstrated ability to understand and accurately react to industry trends. Experience with industry analysis, campaign development, social media marketing, and campaign evaluation are key. Asset creation and SEO experience are a plus.
