Position Summary
The MarketingVolunteer Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive thrift store sales and meet strategic plan objectives that align with the Seton Center's mission. This includes conducting market research and staying up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure our strategies remain effective and compliant.
The MarketingVolunteer Manager oversees and enhances our volunteer program. This includes recruiting and training new volunteers, keeping a database of volunteer information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, and ensuring volunteers are satisfied and well-taken care of.
Duties and Responsibilities as Marketing Manager:

Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies in collaboration with the Executive Director, Thrift Store Manager, and Development Manager based on current goals and strategic plan.

Analyze market trends and research customer preferences.

Manage campaigns across multiple channels, including print, television, radio and digital.

Identify and evaluate new markets.

Track marketing performance and return on investment (ROI) when applicable.

Produces all marketing collateral, such as flyers, logos, ads, emails, internal marketing loop, newsletters and promotional materials, e.g., business cards, pens, apparel, etc. to ensure appropriate usage and consistency of Seton Center branding.

Create and manage website operations and content.

Manage the Email Marketing System, including subscriber lists and automation.

Maintains the social media content calendar and Seton Center Google Calendar

In collaboration with the Executive Director, develop and manage the marketing fiscal year budget.

Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies and regulations to ensure our strategies remain effective and compliant.

Coordinate with the internal team and external agencies to execute campaigns.

Serve as staff liaison to the Development Committee of the BOD

Duties and Responsibilities as Volunteer Manager:

In collaboration with the Executive Director and Operations Manager, assess the need for volunteers to enhance program/service delivery.

Develop volunteer recruiting plans and strategies that align with Seton Center's strategic plan.

In collaboration with the Executive Director, develop and manage the volunteer program's fiscal year budget.
- Review and enforce volunteer policies and procedures and update volunteer handbook as necessary.

Maintain records of volunteer data and information Seton Center's CRM (Customer Relationship Management system)

Coordinating volunteer schedules and ensuring volunteers are assigned to roles that suit their skills, interests and Seton Center's staffing needs.

Schedule and facilitate the volunteer committee and the meeting agenda.

Keep records of volunteers and report volunteer activities/impact to Executive Director on a monthly basis

Communicate regularly to provide accurate information regarding organizational policy changes, eventsfundraisers through a weekly communication vessel to ensure they are up-to-date and well-prepared.

Serves as a liaison for volunteers and the Seton Center's leadership.

Facilitate the selection and onboarding of high schoolcollege interns, and scheduling of on-site visits and community assistance projects.

Organizing volunteer recognition programs and events

Serving as a point of contact for all volunteer inquiries

Knowledge and skills required:

Expertise in direct marketing principles and best practices

Proven capability to develop strategies to increase awareness and drive qualified traffic to Seton Center's digital and physical locations.

Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

Creates engaging digital content (videos, presentations, slideshows)

Strong knowledge of market research and analysis

Experience with email marketing, content creation, paid and organic channels (PPC, social media, etc.)

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

Knowledge of current trends, resources and information related to volunteerism or non-paid internships.

Ability to interface and communicate professionally with all levels of staff, skill-based and general volunteers, collaborators, and the community.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, social media tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite), Canva, Photoshop, or similar editing software; familiarity with Google Ads, Analytics, and WordPress preferred.

Understanding of and commitment to modeling the Vincentian Charism
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in nonprofit marketing and development preferred.

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field a plus

3 years of experience with non-profit management of volunteer resources or non-paid internship program preferred.

In-depth managerial experience, ideally in volunteer-driven contexts a plus.

Hours: 40 hours per week; 1 Saturday per month; exempt $55,000 - $60,000 annual salary
