Marketing/Leasing Consultant

Job Summary

Pay $12 -$14 per hour plus bonuses

We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic Marketing Paid Intern to join our team in Odessa, Texas. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in property management and marketing.
In this energetic role, you will be the face of our community, showcasing its unique features, guiding applicants through the leasing process, and ensuring compliance with fair housing regulations. Your proactive engagement and negotiation skills will help fill vacancies efficiently while delivering exceptional service to all visitors and residents.

Duties

  • Greet prospective residents warmly, schedule and conduct property tours.
  • Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, including application review, background checks, and contract preparation.
  • Help resident’s complete applications
  • Manage and update company websites
  • Advertise on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook
  • Set up and maintain model units
  • Promote available units through effective marketing strategies, upselling features, and maintaining strong customer relationships via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Coordinate and promote move-in specials
  • Assist with tenant retention initiatives and resident activities
  • Prepare move-in packets and resident gift
  • Order and manage marketing materials
  • Maintain accurate data entry in property management software, handle filing, document management, and record keeping efficiently.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property inspections and address resident or prospect inquiries about property conditions or services.
  • Conduct foot marketing in surrounding areas
  • Participate in large community events
  • Maintain and improve curb appeal

Experience

  • Prior experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles is highly desirable.
  • Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and after hours as needed
  • Must be able to schedule and attend appointments on Saturdays
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual preferred (not required)
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude; ability to upsell units while maintaining professionalism.
  • Office experience involving data entry, filing, contracts management, and general administrative support is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills paired with conflict management abilities to handle diverse resident interactions effectively.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
