We are seeking a dynamic, service‑driven leader to join our fantastic hotel team. This dual‑role position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in guest interaction, team leadership, and operational excellence.
The Assistant Manager / Guest Service Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in overall hotel operations while primarily leading, managing, and developing the Front of House Guest Services team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold Marriott brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly manage and lead the Front Desk/Guest Services teams, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
- Create a strong service culture through hands‑on leadership, coaching, training, and daily engagement with team members.
- Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, performance management, and onboarding of Front of House associates.
- Monitor and respond to guest feedback across TripAdvisor, OTAs, GSS, and other platforms, driving continuous improvement.
- Handle guest complaints, escalations, and service recovery, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Enforce Marriott grooming, uniform, and brand presentation standards at all times.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding hotel team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and assist with disciplinary actions and terminations when required.
- Support wage surveys and ensure compliance with company and industry compensation guidelines.
- Promote teamwork and positive communication across all departments.
Additional Expectations
- Must be available 24/7 to respond to guest or employee emergencies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Management.

- Strong Front Office / Guest Services leadership experience (Marriott experience preferred)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
