Job Summary:

A Mason is responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using bricks, blocks, concrete, and other materials. The role requires expertise in various types of masonry work including blockwork, plastering, tiling, and stone laying, as well as adherence to safety and quality standards in construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform bricklaying, block laying, plastering, tiling, and other masonry-related tasks.

· Mix and apply mortar, cement, and other bonding agents.

· Lay out patterns or foundations according to drawings and specifications.

· Construct walls, partitions, floors, and other structural elements.

· Repair and maintain existing masonry structures as needed.

· Ensure alignment, leveling, and proper finishing of surfaces.

· Use tools such as trowels, levels, and plumb bobs with precision.

· Follow safety protocols and site regulations at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Mason, ideally in the UAE or GCC region.

· Knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials.

· Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and measurements.

· Physical strength and stamina for lifting, bending, and long hours of work.

· Awareness of construction site safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Trade certificate in Masonry or General Construction (preferred).

· Minimum 2–5 years of experience in masonry works (block, plaster, tile).

· Experience working on high-rise buildings, villas, or commercial construction projects.

· Valid UAE work permit or transferable visa.

Working Conditions:

· Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

· Full-time role on active construction sites.

· Use of PPE (safety boots, gloves, hard hats, etc.) is mandatory.

· May require weekend or night shifts depending on project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED10.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
