Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Masonry Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of masonry construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate crews, manage schedules, ensure quality standards, and uphold safety protocols on-site. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise masonry crews, providing clear direction and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality craftsmanship.
• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards including OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify work aligns with project specifications.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and controlling material usage while minimizing waste.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with industry codes.
• Collaborate with project managers on contract negotiations, change orders, and scope adjustments to keep projects on track financially and schedule-wise.

Skills

• Extensive construction site experience with a strong background in masonry projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management tools.
• Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and construction estimating.
• Familiarity with contracts management and understanding of legal aspects related to construction projects.
• Ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety protocols including OSHA standards.
• Strong management skills with proven experience supervising multiple crews or teams on large-scale projects.
• Technical knowledge of schematics, ohmmeters for electrical testing, and other relevant tools for quality assurance.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
